The present church of Gask 200 years old last year (2000). Plain square building; white exterior; pine pews and uncomplicated interior. Rural; farming hinterland; small population in parish (commuters); ‘gathered’ congregation (c 128 members). School closed 1992 - lack of children. Around 30-40 attend morning worship (Quod Omnia). 6-8 in Sunday School. Active Kirk Session (10); good-sized guild; youth club (gathered) in Gask hall on Sunday evenings.
