Dunbarney Parish Church is situated in the Earn Valley within the village of Bridge of Earn. The present membership is 586. there has been a Christian witness within the parish for more than 1300 years. The present building was built in 1787 to replace an existing church on the same site. The layout of the interior was radically altered in 1926 when the communion table and pulpit were placed at the east end, and when a pipe organ was installed. There is a lively Sunday School and youth group together with organisations which meet the needs of adults. A warm welcome is extended to visitors. The charge is currently vacant. |
