Bi-centenary: 1983. Set up: 1783 by Heritors (landowners). The Church is in the centre of Methven, which is situated 5 miles west of Perth on the Perth-crieff Road. The population of the village is c 1000. Active Primary School. United with Logiealmond (rural parish to the north of Methven) in 1995. Membership around 300. Activities include: Sunday School (38), Bible Class (12), Friendship club (Church Hall 2 x per month); Social committee, Worship committee, Fabric and finance committee. Quod Sacra - 34 elders, 23 members on Board of Management. Near to Perth, but good ‘compact’ community spirit.
