Moncreiffe Parish Church was established in 1950 as a church extension charge, and built as a hall church. The present sanctuary was added in 1977. In its short history, the congregation was first united with the congregation of Craigend when their church was demolished to make way for the motorway, and then linked with the congregation of Rhynd. In 2001, the church at Rhynd was closed and the charge became one congregation again, covering the former three parishes. The congregation is committed to “taking God’s love to the people of Craigend, Moncreiffe and Rhynd” and is working in partnership with the local authority to create a resource for the local community.
