In our Presbytery and beyond

The Presbytery of Perth is part of the Church of Scotland and serves a wide and wonderfully varied area, covering the council areas of Stirling, Clackmannanshire, Perth and Kinross, Dundee and Angus.

Our congregations are found in all kinds of places — from vibrant cities and towns to rural villages, farmland, coastal communities, and the beautiful mountains and glens of this part of Scotland.

Across the Presbytery there are 103 congregations, each one unique, with its own story, community, and way of serving God and the people around them.

The role of Presbytery is to support the gathered life of the Church of Scotland in this area. We seek to resource and encourage local congregations as they worship, pray, learn, care for one another and serve their communities in the name of Christ.

Presbytery also helps congregations stay connected to the wider Church, offering encouragement, oversight and practical support to ministers, elders and members so that churches can flourish in their local context.
